The creator–merchant marketplace I founded and grew to 15,000+ students. Student creators get paid work, local merchants get content that actually reaches campus. I ran the growth engine end to end.
A daily reading workout for iPhone. Each morning it hands you one short story, science or news or space, and plays it one word at a time at a pace you set. Hold the right edge and it accelerates. Let go and the faster pace sticks.
Then one question, answered from memory. Your score is speed times comprehension, so skimming never pays, and the number gets translated into something real: at 412 words a minute, Harry Potter is a three-hour read.
Cross-market analytics on Kalshi and Polymarket that surfaces arbitrage and tracks whale wallets. Growing into a consumer product.
UCLA Facilities Management runs maintenance and procurement for the whole campus, and every purchase order was being read and keyed in by hand. I interviewed the technicians and supervisors living with that process, then built a pipeline that reads each order with OCR, structures it, and answers questions about it over RAG.
Manual processing dropped 88%, about three full-time roles, and the SOPs were adopted across departments.
